The studio

Three people, one room, four clients at a time.

Zervuqo is an independent business consulting studio in Austin, Texas, founded in 2018. We do not build software, run ad campaigns or manage anyone's books. We sit down with an owner, look at what is actually happening in the business, and leave them with a short list of what to fix and in what order.

What Zervuqo does

A founder in Austin comes to Zervuqo for one thing: a straight answer from a business strategy consultant who read the actual invoices, not a slide deck. Zervuqo takes on strategy, operations and pricing work for founders and small teams — the kind of company that has outgrown guesswork but is nowhere near big enough to hire a strategy department. Work runs across four fixed-scope directions: a three-hour strategy and positioning session, a one-week operations audit, a line-by-line pricing and packaging review against a client's last twelve invoices, and a growth advisory retainer capped at eight hours a month. Every engagement has a stated end date before it starts, and every one ends in a document short enough that a new hire could read it on their first morning and understand exactly what the business is doing and why: a numbered fix list, or a photographed whiteboard. We do not write fifty-slide decks. We do not manage a client's books, run their ad accounts or build their software, and we do not take on retail or restaurant clients, because their margin structure and cash-flow problems sit outside what this studio actually understands.

Who runs this

Zervuqo, trading at zervuqo.com.

Zervuqo is an independent, privately operated consulting studio, not a franchise or a division of a larger firm. The studio is based in Austin, Texas, and operates from a single physical location: 93 River Road, Unit B, Austin, Texas 06493, United States. There is no second office and no branch network — every engagement runs out of that one room, on purpose, because the owner-founder model is the entire point of a four-client cap.

Runs every session in the room.

The lead consultant has been with the studio since it opened in 2018 and sits in on every founder advisory session in Austin personally — there is no handoff to a junior once the contract is signed. That is the trade-off of the four-client cap: fewer clients, but the same person from the first call to the whiteboard photo, on every engagement Zervuqo takes.

Retainer work is tracked against the same eight-hours-a-month limit regardless of who on the team is doing the work that week, so a client is never billed for someone learning the account.

The team

Three people. No bench.

Zervuqo runs on three people: the lead consultant, a second consultant who covers audits and pricing reviews, and one operations lead who keeps the retainer hours logged and the intake calls scheduled. There is no bench of junior analysts billing hours nobody asked for, and no account manager standing between you and the person doing the work.

That structure is why the studio caps itself at four active engagements. A three-person team working four fixed-scope engagements at once is already at capacity — adding a fifth client would mean spreading the same three people thinner, which is exactly the failure mode this studio was built to avoid.

The four-client cap

We will not start a fifth engagement until one finishes.

The studio takes four active clients at a time. That capacity limit is the whole business model. Fewer clients mean more hours on each one, and no engagement gets squeezed to make room for a new sale. When all four slots are filled, a new inquiry goes on a waiting list with a real date rather than a vague "we'll see."

It also means saying no. A retainer client who wants to expand past eight hours a month has to have a new scope conversation first, not an automatic upsell. A prospective client outside the one-to-twelve-person range, or running a retail or restaurant business, gets told plainly that this is not the right studio for them — on the first call, not after a deposit.

The room

93 River Road, Unit B.

The studio operates out of a converted room in a modest brick building on a quiet Austin side street — a long table, a whiteboard wall, one window, exposed concrete floor. It is not a glass tower and it does not pretend to be one. Every session, audit and pricing review happens in this one room, whether the client is sitting at the table or joining by phone from it.
